Pipeline Processing at ESO

All operational pipelines for VLT instruments on Paranal are based on ESO's Common Pipeline Library (CPL), by now. The recipes to perform the actual pipeline jobs are executed via Gasgano (a Java based GUI) or the command-line utility Esorex. Work is going on to integrate more and more recipes in the Reflex graphical workflow system, which offers the flexibility of an interactive system when executing pipeline recipes. These applications will be demonstrated as well as the new 08SEP release of the ESO-Midas data analysis system.
