Gaia Data Processing Architecture

The Gaia Data Processing and Analysis Consortium (DPAC) is responsible for Gaia data treatment. DPAC was formed in 2006 and presented at ADASS that year. We present the current state of the overall processing architecture involving six data processing centres and a large iterative data processing chain. We discuss some of the challenges in the processing and some of the solutions which are being adopted.
